The TS-h1277AXU-RP comes with two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 5 slots that allow for installing NVMe SSDs (including WD®, Micron®, Seagate®, Kingston®) to boost NAS performance. PCIe Gen 5 is backwards compatible with PCIe Gen 4 / PCIe Gen 3 for flexible SSD deployment.

The TS-h1277AXU-RP also supports QTS - QNAP’s standard NAS operating system – that provides great everyday performance, efficient memory utilization, and the advantage of Qtier auto-tiering. You can also migrate drives from your current QTS-based NAS to the TS-h1277AXU-RP.
