This USB Type-C Hub with RS-232 Serial, Gigabit Ethernet, and 100W USB-C Power Delivery Pass-Through adds two USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) Type-A ports to a USB enabled computer. The attached 2ft (60cm) USB-C host cable includes a tethered USB-C to USB-A adapter that enables the USB Hub to easily connect to both USB-A and USB-C host computers.
RS-232 Serial
The USB Hub adds an RS-232 serial DB/DE-9M (male) connector to a desktop or laptop. The USB to RS-232 adapter features COM retention, which automatically reassigns the COM port value if the cable is disconnected and reconnected, or if the system is rebooted.
Gigabit Ethernet
The USB hub features a Gigabit Ethernet Network Interface Controller (NIC). The Ethernet adapter is compatible with the IEEE 802.3u/ab standards and supports Wake-on-LAN (WoL), Jumbo Frames, and V-LAN Tagging.
